Barefoot CNC opens new training/support office.
With the new structure of the Mastercam X interface and support we decided to open an office specifically for Mastercam X training and support. The new facility will enable us to hold classes of 10 for X transition classes and have dedicated online training/support PCs.

Mastercam's Maintenance Release Delivers New High Speed Toolpaths

CNC Software announces the release of Mastercam X’s Maintenance Release (MR1). Available to customers January 24, this release is available to all Maintenance customers. MR1 introduces significant new capabilities, including new high speed machining toolpaths, holder definition, the release of Mastercam X Wire, and much more.

Mastercam X Mill introduces significant new capabilities, including many 3D toolpath additions and enhancements, improved backplot capabilities, a new surface finish pencil toolpath, new high speed machining, machine and control definition, and much more.

• Barefoot CNC's New Website - The new website should be easier to find the information/downloads you need in order to stay current and proficient. Styled after and integrated with CNC Software's website http://www.mastercam.com makes finding what you need a breeze.
• Barefoot CNC's New Office - Located at 333 Sanford Drive here in Morganton the office offers easier access. Due to new support options and new training options we decided to move into the new office to streamline our processes.
• Barefoot CNC's Online Support - By utilizing online support we have been able to reduce tech support phone time by 75% for most tech issues.
• Barefoot CNC's Online Training - The convenience of online training has made it possible to work around company's tight schedules and get their people trained. Training can be done during normal working hours or in the evening. Training is one on one on your parts.
• Barefoot CNC's Online "What's New/How it Works" Sessions - With all the new features and enhancements in Mastercam Version X, Barefoot CNC is doing "What's New" demonstrations online. We will send out email invitations to the meetings. When we realize that a lot of our tech calls are on the same thing we will be doing "How it Works" sessions on those and post them up.
